Amazing Grace Christian Academy Details
Well-trained, paid teachers will be teaching in each grade level classroom on Tuesdays and Fridays. Weekly lesson plans will be provided to parents to follow on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Student work will be completed at home and families are expected to follow lesson plans in order for students to stay on track and to participate in the classroom.

Tuition: Tuition for the Christian school is $1,800 per year. Tuition covers well-trained teaching staff, aides and office/building use fees. Tuition may be paid all at once on August 1, 2023, or in 10 monthly installments of $180.00 beginning August 1, and paid monthly for 10 months on the first of each month.

Curriculum Cost: Average cost $251. The curriculum content and cost for each grades varies and some materials can be shared within a family (see curriculum details below).

Application Process: AGCA is a discipleship program for Christian families. All applicants are required to sign our statement of Christian faith. In addition, there is an interview of prospective parents and students.

Volunteering: Parents in service requirement is 8 hours per school year.

Tuesday On-Campus Schedule:
School Starts: 8:30 a.m. for K-5th
8:30 – 9:20: Math, all grades, students to be assigned math grade by test score.
9:20 – 10:20: Language Arts
10:20 – 10:40: Recess
10:40 – 11:30: History/Geography
11:30 – 12:10: Chapel/Choir (all classes together in Summit room)
12:10 – 1:00.: Lunch/recess
1:00 – 1:45: Bible
1:45 – 2:45 Science
School ends: 2:45
Friday On-Campus Schedule:
School Starts: 8:30 a.m. for K-5th

Academy Ends: 1:00p.m. for those students not registered in AGE. (There is a 75 minute overlap with both programs)
1:00 - 1:30: Creation/skills
1:30 - 2:15: Choir
2:15 – 3:00: PE
Program Ends at 3:00 p.m.

Curriculum
The curriculum was chosen by a highly professional and/or homeschool experienced committee with a focus on affordability, quality and ease of use and teaching for the parent. The curriculum content and cost for each grades varies. It is important to note that in many cases, one textbook is all a single family will need. For example, in The Mystery of History series, all students use the same book.
